The Kawasaki Z1300 is a standard motorcycle unusual for its large-displacement 1286cc inline six engine made by Kawasaki from 1979-1989. The Z1300 has six cylinders, water cooled, and shaft drive. A large-displacement motorcycle packed with standard features, such as a rectangular headlamp up front, a one piece dual seat with passenger grab rail, a dual exhaust system with a muffler on each side, side mounted rear shocks, and a seven spoke light weight aluminium wheels. At the time only Honda and Benelli were producing 6 cylinder bikes so Kawasaki decided to produce one and the Z1300 is the result.
The bike has come from a private collection and has been owned by the previous owner for the last 4 years. It has been registered as a historic vehicle so is exempt of TAX and MOT. It has been in regular use so runs and rides well for a bike of this age and is a superb way to entre the classic market.
